Stunning tours today with 3 Humpback whales and windless day in the fjord! Today the tour was a real fairytale, we left Akureyri in dream sailing conditions having calm seas and pink sky above us. It took us not longer than 30 minutes to find a first blow that was actually spotted by one of our passengers. We headed towards direction of a whale when another blow near by was spotted. NEW WHALE IN THE FJORD! and what a curious one. We had few incredible encounters when 2 whales were popping up right next to us and diving under the boat. Meanwhile we spotted a third blow in the distance which turned out to be Arheta Frankfin! Today Arheta was rather busy feeding and not easy to follow but overall it was an amazing day out there and we simply can’t wait to go out there again!
