Southern winds are currently blowing in and around Akureyri, making the seas a bit choppy but bringing warmer air at the same time. Temperatures were pleasant and we had rain, sun and clouds all mixed on our tours. The whales were not the easiest today, diving for a long time, coming up quite unpredictably and not often showing the fluke. We estimated about 3-4 humpback whales in the area. Still on every tour we got to see and enjoy a few flukes against the stunning back drop of Eyjafjörður. We are looking forward towards seeing what wildlife has in store for us tomorrow.
