Today the fjord was much calmer than previous days which made sailing on the long swells a delight. Today we had to travel quite far to see the whales but they were there in full force. On all our tours we saw at least 5 humpbacks at varying distances. Our later tours were quite spectacular as the wonderful humpbacks began surface feeding, coming up many many times with their mouths wide open! We seemed to hit the jackpot as 12 whales were busy feeding all around us one even breached for us just meters from the boat! Not only this but the amazing Northern Bottlenose whales also popped up right in the harbour! What an exceptional day.
