It was beautiful and warm on sailing out into the fjord today, the weather had calmed down a lot from yesterday making the sailing a lot less bumpy. The snow had melted a bit since yesterday giving us a spectacular view of the landscape. Throughout the tour the weather started to pick up and the swell increased making spotting conditions harder. It is with a very heavy heart that I have to admit no cetaceans were spotted on today's tour, but we were able to see lots of bird life including common guillemots, back-backed gulls and red throated divers. Luckily our passengers didn't mind too much and really enjoyed the sail out to Hrisey Island.
