Today we have seen 2 Humpback Whales. We watched one of them around Svalbardseyri.

We sailed out on a cold winter day and were surrounded by eight humpback whales, their massive bodies surfacing close to the boat. The experience was made even more magical by the colorful blows at sunrise, leaving us with an unforgettable memory of these majestic creatures.

On today’s tour we encountered two feeding Humpback Whales south of Hrísey. We were lucky to repeatedly witness very rare bubble net feeding by one of the Humpbacks! A truly special day.

Today’s whale watching adventure took us through chilly -6°C winds around Hrisey Island, where we spotted two humpback whales. Despite the choppy sea, we were treated to an incredible display of these magnificent creatures, and we’re already excited for what tomorrow’s tour will bring!

We set sail under perfect conditions, hoping to spot our whale friend Piccolo, and were rewarded with an unforgettable encounter with two humpback whales near Hrísey. Their synchronized dives and playful behavior, followed by a close encounter as we left, made for an extraordinary day in Akureyri.

It was a beautiful day with calm waters and the mountains glowing in warm orange hues. We were fortunate to have a magical encounter with Piccolo, the humpback whale, as it gracefully surfaced near our boat, leaving us in awe of nature’s wonders.

Today was a calm and peaceful sailing day, with barely any wind and a fjord as still as glass, creating a serene atmosphere. We were delighted to witness our Humpback whale friend Picollo displaying playful behavior, offering a magical connection with nature under a beautiful sunrise sky.

Today, we saw the incredible Humpback whale "Piccolo" feeding in the harbor of Akureyri/Pollurinn, under the stunning backdrop of stratospheric clouds.

Today we spotted harbor porpoises near Svalbarðseyri and two amazing Humpback whales south of Hrisey.

We saw four incredible Humpback whales north of Hrisey, gracefully swimming through the waters, leaving us in wonder at their beauty.

Perfect sailing conditions today with hardly any wind and a flat sea. Southeast of Hrísey, we spotted several blows and counted six Humpback Whales!

Today was one of those beautiful winter days with a stunningly colorful sky in Iceland and we used it perfectly to watch two Humpbacks in Eyjafjörður!
