The day started with some rain, except for some rain the sea conditions were perfect for whale watching! South of Svalbarðseyri we saw our first humpback whale, lunge feeding many times throwing almost its whole body out of the water. Other two humpback whales joined our first one, later in the morning also the sun came out!

In the afternoon, to our surprise, the humpback whales were continuing feeding south ofSvalbarðseyri , we had two of them and we were also lucky with some closer encounters!

In the evening we had the two humpbacks still feeding non-stop! One was north and the other south of Svalbarðseyri, at one point also a cute minke whale surprised us while we were watching the humpbacks feed.
