Starting the day with absolutely no wind in Akureyri. The sun also came through the clouds a little bit. Visibility was good but certainly very bright even though it was cloudy.
The sea was super flat during our morning tours, in the afternoon the wind picked up slightly.
Today we found 2 Minke Whales in Raudavik and one Humpback Whale a little bit south. At first we didn’t see the Humpback, maybe because the Minke Whales have been unreal. I have been doing this for 3 years now, but not seen Minkes that close and casual around all the boats.
In the afternoon we saw the Humpback surface feeding a little bit, with lots of bird activity around and one tail throw as well.
