We sailed out from Akureyri on a partially cloudy day. The fjord simply a bit choppy due to the wind. The first sighting was a Minke whale in the area east of Krossanes, but since we always want to try and see multiple whales, we kept our cures North. And we found 2 Humpback whalesE of Hauganes.
In the afternoon we saw plenty of Harbour Porpoises, a Northern Gannet diving extremely fast into the water and the same two Humpbacks. This time in western Raudavik.
In general the classic tour had some super close encounters with the whale diving underneath the boat.
