Cloudy skies and a flat fjord greeted us this morning. The temperature colder than in the past days due to the northern wind.
The fjord turned quite choppy around 11am and stayed that way for the rest of the day.
In the morning we found a Minke Whale around the buoy, then another one south of Hjalteyri. We kept going further north and found 2 Humpback Whales. One in Raudavik, the other at Hauganes.
On our second tours, we encountered the same whales in the same area with rougher sea conditions. But we had a few super close encounters and Munchie did some proper lunge feeding right in front of both boats. Good stuff today.
