The skies were blue and full of bird life. and ahead of us was a flat fjord. We sailed off from Akureyri with the sun in our faces. Scanning our waters until we found our friend Ryder, the Humpback whale, just South of Hjalteyri. He was displaying a very calm behavior showing us how gracious these gentle giants can be.
