A whale of a day in Eyjafjordur. We departed from Akureyri on a mild northern breeze. But unlike the previous days, today we barely had a swell. By Hjalteyri, we found the Humpback whale Ryder, who was feeding. This allowed us to have plenty of whale to see some lunge feeds close to the surface, some side lunges. topping it up with an amazing tail throw at the end of the tour. Amazing way to say goodbye.
