Today, we headed out from Akureyri into a fjord filled by the northern wind. This made the temperatures drop despite the wind the fjord remained quite flat with some long swell along the way. But as you know, the whales don’t mind the weather.
We found Ryder, the Humpback whale, between Rauðavík and North of Hjalteyri. As the afternoon advanced the snow started falling and as we said bless bless to Ryder we had the loveliest view of the snow fall on the fjord.
