Today, we departed from a partially cloudy Akureyri to find a completely windless and mirror-like fjord ahead of us. Around Svalbarðseyri, we found a very lovely Humpback whale. And we observed it surface very gracefully. But since before today, we used to have two Humpbacks around, we decided to venture further North in search of the second. Only to find 2 Orcas next to the Green buoy. Everyone was over themselves with excitement since Orcas sightings inside our fjord are one of the rarest we have during the year. And as you can see in the images, one of the orcas had a collapsed dorsal fin.
