After 2 weeks without seeing the sun, today was the day! An amazing blue sky was waiting for us with an extraordinary winter sun shining in our faces. Although it was quite cold with -9 degrees, the amazing blue and white landscape under the sun warmed everyone’s heart. And who was there waiting for us?? Our beloved Humpback whale Piccolo. Accompanied us on the most beautiful winter day, just north of Svalbarðseyri.
