Today was an amazing day. We totally got surprised by the weather which hasn’t been forecasted the way it actually was. We expected a fairly calm tour, but ended up wrestling strong northern wind with decent waves. But we still found a whale. First we spotted 2 Humpback whales south of the buoy. They have been difficult to follow. Suddenly, a breach right in front of us. But only a few saw that. We headed further north to find 1 Humpback north of Hjalteyri, 1 Humpback east of Hjalteyri and another one north of Strytan. all in all it was very difficult to see the whales. But it was the most amazing day because we got to go out and feel the fresh Icelandic air. I can not wait for more of this.
