What a fantastic day out on the water from Akureyri! We enjoyed beautiful conditions throughout the day, with very little wind and no precipitation.
On our morning departure, we spotted our first humpback whale just south of the buoy before finding three more in Rauðavík!
During our second departure, we were lucky enough to find the same humpback in exactly the same spot south of the buoy. Later, we encountered an impressive group of five humpback whales in Rauðavík!
A total of four humpbacks during the morning trip and six during the afternoon. What a wonderful day of whale watching!
