Whale whale whale… Todays weather was very nice with mild wind and flat ocean. But what a day!

In the morning we saw the convo a nice pod of Harbor Porpoises, just outside of Akureyri. Followed by a Minke whale around the green buoy. But that was not all, just S Hjalteyri we found a beautiful Humpback whale. And our Rib team ventured further north wher they also found a Humpback whale in Rauðavík.

During the afternoon we decided to head north to try and locate those Humpback whales again, but… to our surprise we found 4 Humpback whales instead of 2. But on top of it they were different individuals spread around the waters of Hjalteyri. So we have a total of 6 Humpbacks!

In the evening, with the Rib, we saw our first whale by the green bouey. It was one of the Humpback whales we saw in the classic tour. We got to recognize it because of the colours on its fluke. We then saw two more whales, one south of Hjalteyri, and one more to the East.
