Good afternoon! Today we sailed out in sunny and calm weather conditions.
South of Hjalteyri we spotted our first blows! We were very excited to be greeted by two Humpback Whales, which surfaced right in front of our RIB boat. These two Humpback Whales were soon joined by more and more blows in the area around us, so we spotted a total of seven Humpbacks near and far. All of these whales resurfaced multiple times, we had a few really close encounters with them and got to have a good look at them.
It was a beautiful tour in Eyjafjörður today and we cannot wait to sail out again tomorrow!
