What an absolutely wonderful day! It was beautifully sunny with no wind and a flat fjord. Our Morning tours got to see a wonderful minke whale, which surfaced many times in the insanely flat fjord. With engines off we got to enjoy this wonderful creature as it surfaced many times around the boats. Some cute little harbour porpoises also popped up from time to time which was just delightful. Our afternoon tours found some wonderful white-beaked dolphins which played around in our wake, follow by not one but at least two humpback whales! One of which we recognised as Princess Whalia which we haven´t seen here in Eyjafjörður since 2017! Which made us all incredibly excited, the other one was new to the fjord, which is also super cool. These two individuals were travelling together which is quite rare in the feeding grounds. Our evening tours found another minke whale and the two wonderful humpback whales which gave us a wonderful show. They raised their tails many times wowing all our awestruck passengers. An incredibly beautiful day!
