The weather was just perfect for a whale watching in the fjord today. The warmth of the summer is in the air and the wild life of the fjord did not disappoint. We encountered White-beaked dolphins playing around the boat and active around us near the Island Hrísey. We saw a Minke whale close to Svalbarðseyri and a Humpack whale north of Hrísey and close to the lighthouse at the entrance of the fjord. Gorgeous day to go on a whale watching tours!
