Whale, whale whale, what an exciting start to the day! Just after 15 minutes of sailing from the harbour a whale literally jumped up and surprised us! This wonderful minke whale then continued to delight us with a whole series of breaches, where it jumped out of the water, not just once but 18 times!!! Its incredibly rare for these whales to breach but unheard of for it to jump so many time in a row! Was so amazing! We then followed this individual for a while and watched it surface normally with a bit of lunge feeding now and then. With high spirits we headed out again and found the same minke whale and were able to watch it surface all the way around the boat with a few lunges here and there. Harbour porpoises were also spotted on all of our tours today. On our evening tour the wind had picked up quite considerably so unfortunately we weren’t able to spot any larger cetaceans therefore, complimentary tickets were given to our passengers. But wow what a beautiful sunny day to sail the fjord
