What difference a day makes….yesterday we had a super rainy day and this morning we were greeted by winds from the South and sunshine galore. Perfect weather conditions to go out and watch for whales. The humpback whales seemed to be agreeing with us as it didn’t take us long to find our first individual, named Depill. Overall there must have been 3-4 humpback whales in the first third of the fjord. We had great fun watching them feeding, diving and showing their flukes. Next to great whales, the scenery looked also extra special with the snow-covered mountain tops. An absolutely fantastic day.
