The wind has been blowing strongly today, but one of the best advantages of doing whalewatching in Eyjafjörður is that, as we are in a fjord, we are sheltered and the seas are usually calm. But both of our tours were quite long today since we had to go quite far out in order to find the whales. In the morning it took us a long time, but the ride was worth it: +5 Humpback Whales feeding! In the afternoon we did not need to go that far away since we found Iskona and another humpback right north of Grenivik. But it was also worth it: Iskona delighted us launching its tail in the air!
Departures today: Classic 9h and 13h
