Today in the morning tour we went out on our catamaran and also with our rib boat. The whales were not as close as during the last days, so we had to travel quite far north in order to find them. But despite the long trip, we got our reward, since we could see the 3 species of cetaceans that can be observed in Eyjarfjordur: Humpback whales, Minke whales and Harbor porpoises. In the afternoon we only went out on our catamaran Holmasol, and we had to travel even further north, but the reward was even better. As well as the 3 species we had seen in the morning, we also could find White beaked dolphins. Eyjarfjordur is always surprising!
