Weather and wind conditions were pleasant today in Akureyri with blue sky and sun warming our faces. Over the last couple of days we have been spoiled with 20+ humpback whales and therefore we were a bit surprised to see the fjord quite empty in the morning. Luckily this changed throughout te day and we could spent a lovely time with 5-7 humpback whales in the afternoon. Things are changing a lot currently in the fjord and we are eager to see what tomorrow has in stock for us.
