Eyjafjördur today was overcast, bit cold, but flat seas! We only have to sail to Hjaltery to find humpback whales. When we were looking out on the morning tour, we spotted about six to eight humpbacks. They were serene and swam slowly, and the pictures were amazing with flat seas.  In the afternoon tour, there were four humpback whales in different sites. By the same token, one of the whales decided to check out the vessel's bow closely and showed its fluke just in front of the passengers. Everybody was just amazed by this imminent hello! Furthermore, just beside of Hjaltery seemed that there was a seabird party, with many arctic terns, gulls, and kittiwakes. A very pleasant day with the Eyjafjördur whales and seabirds.
