If you are dreaming about a Whale watching tour in Iceland during winter, today would have been exactly that. Flat sea, no wind, 2 degrees and pure sunshine in our faces. Most of the tour the engines were turned off and you could simply stand there waiting for the whale and enjoying the warmth from the sun.
We found the same old 2 Humpback Whales again, but in the beginning they were in seperate areas. Later they found their way back together and started feeding outside of Svalbardseyri. We also saw a bunch of calm Harbour Porpoises next to the whales.
