Goðan daginn again!

Sun’s back out and Overalls stay mostly inside. Those are the days we live for. It wasn’t just sunny, also only light wind coming from the north. Little wind waves were no problem for us and tours in the morning and evening actually sailed on pure glass. Today we went out on 4 classic and 4 Express tours with great success. We spotted a 4 Humpback Whales right next to Hrisey island, where a couple other companies already hung out. We also encountered some Humpbacks rather close, one was spotted after only a 20 min drive. Some Humpbacks were feeding very actively, another one was just sleeping and spent lots of time at the surface. furthermore, while looking at a Humpback, we spotted two Minke Whales just about 300m next to us. That’s not it quite yet, because some people also saw some cute little Harbour Porpoises popping up next to us. Today was also a great day for Puffins, since we saw quite a lot of them.

Simply another sweet as day in the fjord. Looking forward to a sunny and warm day tomorrow.
