Today we headed out the fjord on our 1 o‘clock tour on a cold winter day. Our warm cozy overalls were highly appreciated on this cold day. Close to Hjalteyri we saw our newest humpback whale in eyjafjörður an individual we named Secret. He came up once and we headed further out looking for other cetaceans. Close to Hrísey we encountered two more humpback whales Vladimir Spoutine and Turner. Turner is named after a passenger who took a beautiful picture of the whale when he breached in our tour last Tuesday. A little further out we saw two more humpback whales, new individuals called Perla and Ethan. We had such a lovely encounter with our five humpback whales today. Another pleasant day here in our fjord.
