Whatever we have done to deserve this high abundance of humpback whales, we are extremely grateful! The whales were in a comparable area to yesterday and once again our passengers and us were simply in awe. Seeing so many different humpback whales, observing countless dives, social interactions and fun behaviours is something one doesn’t forget. D’Artagnan, Spoutacus, Aretha Frankfin and friends must love the food around Eyjafjördur. Throughout the day, the wind was already blowing strongly and is predicted to increase tomorrow. Hence, we have cancelled our tours for tomorrow morning and RIB tours all day. But on Sunday we are back to enjoy cetaceans and calmer weather.
