What a beautiful day to be out on the fjord, it was wonderfully sunny and not too cold or windy. Today the fjord was full of whales and we saw at least 5 humpbacks on each tour! Including Aretha Frankfin and some new individuals who are yet to named. On our afternoon tour we saw some lovely tail lobbing, a behaviour where the whale raises its back body out of the water and swings it round, it was super amazing to watch! We even got to have a close encounter with the geothermal waterfall in the fjord and got to feel the lovely warm water on our faces before heading back to Akureyri.
