Today was incredible! This morning we encountered Humpback whales and could see several big blows in the distance but they were too far out for us to see properly. Thankfully in the afternoon they had moved further into the fjord so we could get a closer look. At first glance we thought they might be Fin whales as we had heard from another boat that there were some around in the morning, but as we got closer we could identify the two whales as BLUE WHALES! What a great surprise and wonderful evening we spent with them, surfacing close to the boats, feeding and rolling!
